Over the past two years and some odd months, we have been fortunate to have Dan and Melissa as repeat customers: with Melissa's first maternity, the birth of Noah, Noah's 1st birthday and now with Melissa's second maternity.  Watching this little family grow and being able to capture their milestones has meant the world to us.  With her second child, Melissa chose an outdoor shoot and after being cancelled out of a location in Richmond, we decided that doing the photoshoot at Dan and Melissa's (and my) alma mater would be a lovely tribute to where it all began: the lovely University of Mary Washington.  The day was a perfect day in late June, Noah remained active and animated the entire two hours, and Melissa glowed through it all, especially for 36 and a half weeks!

Without further ado, our friends Dan, Melissa, Noah and Liam (in Melissa's tummy):

When I found out Melissa and Dan were expecting, I got so excited!  I have known the couple since our sophomore year of college at University of Mary Washington.  I remember when Dan and Melissa were dating, when they got engaged and then when they got married.  Probably two of the nicest people I know, I am so happy they are going to be parents very soon.  Even though we have lost touch over the years, we reconnected when I heard about baby Noah, and I was able to talk the couple into a maternity shoot, and later, in February, a "Welcome to the World Noah Masher" photo shoot.  Melissa, an a-typical pregnant mom (she's only had morning sickness once, rarely craves weird foods and still does aerobics at the gym!) is positively glowing and Dan, a modest almost-dad, cannot wait for Noah to join their little family.

I am so excited that Matt and I could capture this special time for you both...we cannot wait to meet little Noah!  Congratulations again!
